Decoding Qualities: {isFitForComputerScience = true ?}

Throughout my life, I have been undecided regarding what course I should take. In elementary, I wanted to be a soldier—inspired by games and films about warfare. I was inspired by action films featuring Fernando Poe Jr., Robin Padilla, and Lito Lapid. I grew up watching those old films because my dad enjoyed watching them. Then eventually, my dream course changed into something medically aligned. I didn't know what course exactly but I wanted something in the medical field. Then it changed into being a lawyer, then a priest, then a medical technologist, and so on and so forth.

Now I'm in Computer Science. In this course, you need to be analytical as you will be thinking of ways to solve a problem. There are multiple ways to solve a problem as I noticed because when I compared my answer to my peers, they used a different approach but we still arrived at the same answer. Aside from that, you need to be excited by the prospect of solving problems because, well, let's face it. Computer Science is going to throw a lot of problems your way to mold you into a solutions provider. Despite the difficulty of the course, it's a lucrative industry as long as you excel in whatever niche you end up in.

The course is cool and all and it's very easy (for now hehe). I was able to leverage some of my self-learned coding skills and I'm still looking to improve my coding arsenal. Check out my infographics and short promotional video about Computer Science at Philippine Christian University below.
